Let me tell you about a shape named
Dave is different than other shapes. Most shapes are named for their geometric properties, Dave is named for the shape's sense of humor.
The geometric principles of Dave are indeed not its most important features, but that does not mean it does not have any. It simply means that there may be up to 10% differentiation in exact angles and dimensional proportions, but all Daves should share the same basic form as what you see here.
Daves do indeed share the same basic form, but other than that, they can come in a variety of sizes, colors, textures, and functions. You are invited to use the resources on this page to create your own Dave. The idea is to see inspire as many people as possible to make their own unique Dave.
I want to make it as easy as possible for others to participate in this project, but that might be an evolving process. At the moment, I have just one type of blueprint and some very basic instructions, but these resources will grow. For now, you can download a basic Dave blueprint here.
Getting the word out
Making a Dave is not the only way to be apart of the project. You can also help to get the word out about this wonderful free shape that is named Dave. You can share a link to this page across any of your social media accounts, or you can hang up some flyers in the physical world. We are going to make a few different flyer designs, for now we just have this one.
